What is this place?
Before, I used to just mess around with stuff and just make stupid layouts. I always said I would make cool stuff but I never did, all I did was say empty promises about updating my blog everyday. I would do it for about a month then completely stop and then i never touched my website for months. When my boyfriend started organizing for the convention we're starting, I said I would help with the website since I understand and know more than he does. I gave up on myself because i knew the website I would give him would be pathetic. We settled on one from Neskaya. I still wanted to help in some way, so I told him I would help look for different images and correct his spelling and grammatical errors. Since I had not touched HTML or CSS in months, I went back to the familiar place of Strawberry heavens. That's when it happened.
For the first time I noticed that almost all of her images for her website were gone. I already knew that small parts of her site were now private, such as her contact page, profile, and wall of shame. I got scared that she was deleting the whole site and I wanted to salvage everything of hers that I could before it was lost forever. I emailed her and am still waiting for a reply to have her permission to re-upload her graphics on my site and crediting her.
I then started to redo my whole site, deleting old blogs and pages and completely replacing them with new ideas. I just hope I can carry on the epic that she started. I may never meet her, but if I did I'd feel very special. You see, I grew really attached to her site because it was the first site I learned about graphics from. Using her website, I started making my own xanga layouts when I was very young. Then I started getting bigger and bigger and finally moving onto my own personal website. I would hate for her to just up and leave one day and completely shut down her whole site, so I guess that's why I am dedicating this site to her. I'll miss Strawberry heavens dearly. Hopefully it will come back or possibly be revamped. Until I hear any more news, that is all I have to say.
